Terms of Use

The practical terms for using SpamSniper, including limitations, third-party components, and responsibility boundaries.

Terms of Use

By using SpamSniper, you agree to the following terms.

Use of the App

SpamSniper is provided for personal use on supported iOS devices. The app is intended to help reduce unwanted calls by loading selected blocklists into Apple's Call Directory system.

SpamSniper is not guaranteed to block every spam call, prevent caller ID spoofing, or avoid every false positive.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • reviewing which repositories and blocklists you enable
  • checking any personal blocked numbers you add
  • making sure the app is configured correctly on your device

If you block a legitimate number by mistake, that outcome is your responsibility as the device owner and operator.

Availability and Changes

The app, its repository sources, and these terms may change over time. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed without notice.

No Warranty

SpamSniper is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Use of Third-Party Components

SpamSniper depends on third-party libraries and Apple system frameworks. Those components remain subject to their own licenses and platform terms.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, the author is not liable for damages arising from use of the app, including missed calls, blocked legitimate calls, data loss, sync failures, or device behavior related to call blocking.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes related to SpamSniper will be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the project owner.
